Foods & Drinks
There are plenty of great options near KoncertKirken. We like AHAA Cuisine, Gao Dumplings, Lee’s Kitchen and many others. Blågårdsgade is full of good options, so you can’t really go wrong.
The bar at KoncertKirken is open before, during, and after the concerts.
If you’re still thirsty after the concert, there are usually people from the festival hanging out in the neighborhood around KoncertKirken – you are very welcome to join us.
Accessibility
The main entrance has stairs, but there is an elevator available for entering the building.
The concert hall itself is on a single level. There is an accessible restroom in the basement, reachable by elevator.
Please arrive in good time if you need to use the elevator.
Location
The concert hall is located on the main floor, with two restrooms downstairs. An elevator is available in the building.
The hall has a capacity of approximately 110 people. There is no fixed seating — seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Inside, you’ll be welcomed by our team as well as the volunteers working at KoncertKirken, who will be serving drinks before, during, and after the concert.
The venue is easy to reach by public transport, with metro stations such as Nørreport and Forum within walking distance, and several bus lines stopping nearby. Around Blågårds Plads you’ll find some of Copenhagen’s best cafés, bars, and small restaurants. In summer — and whenever the weather allows — Blågårdsgade is one of the liveliest streets in the city for people-watching.
KoncertKirken is a unique concert venue located at Blågårds Plads in the heart of Nørrebro, Copenhagen. Housed in a former church, it offers excellent acoustics and hosts a wide range of concerts throughout the year — from classical and chamber music to jazz, contemporary, and experimental genres.

Bus 5C stops at Ravnsborggade, a 5-minute walk from KoncertKirken. Forum metro station is reachable in 10 minutes on foot.
Tickets
It is possible to purchase tickets at the door upon arrival, provided that the concert is not sold out. This happens quite often, so we do recommend buying tickets in advance.
Volunteering
We are always looking for volunteers — especially during the festival period.
Come and help us welcome our wonderful audience, give us a hand counting the chairs, and make sure we don’t run out of snacks or drinks backstage (which would truly be a disaster).
In return, we promise good vibes, great music and free merch — we want to hang out with you and your friends!
