Family Concert with Jakob Weber
In the world of dreams, anything is possible — everything we do is music, even our dreams!
In this dream, we will of course encounter a fantastic wealth of wonderful music to set the imagination in motion. We will also meet some little birds, a rattlesnake, experience rain and wind, meet a happy frog and a grumpy troll, hear eerie sounds and enchanting tones from outer space, and much more... Anything goes in the world of imagination, and we promise it won't be boring!
We will present the highlights from our full programme, curated and woven together into a musical narrative. Jakob Weber serves as our storyteller, guiding us through this musical adventure. The concert combines storytelling and music, curated for both children and adults with a sense of wonder!
For this family concert, we will perform selected children rhythmes, spiced up with musical moments that will carry us from one mood to the next. Experience music from our festival programme, including Brahms' great Piano Quintet, Mozart's playful Clarinet Quintet, Poulenc's wonderful Flute Sonata, Haydn's witty Piano Trio ("Gypsy"), Smetana's sweeping Piano Trio, and more. John Cage's work Dream frames the entire concert.
